Der lang ersehnte IC-9100 ist nun nach nahezu eineinhalb Jahren „Wartezeit“ heute (07.03.2011) endlich bei mir im Shack. Das 23cm-Modul (UX-9100) ist leider noch nicht verfügbar. Da derzeit leider noch keine Erkenntnisse über die aus 32 Dioden bestehende Matrix (D1501-D1532) bestehen ist das Gerät leider noch nicht frequenzerweitert; das ist jedoch nur eine Frage der Zeit…
Nach ersten Tests ein sehr sehr schönes Gerät welches bisher alle Erwartungen erfüllt hat!

Concerning the frequency expansion here some latest news: D1502 to D1516 need to be removed. Afterwards it should be open for RX and for TX according to the documentation – but it is only open for RX afterwards… I’ll keep on finding out a complete solution. However it seems that the „*“ symbols in the schematic don’t say anything.

Update (10.03.2011): I succeeded in doing the frequency expansion as well as the possibility to make D-Star even on all shortwave bands and to enable the crossband-repeater function. The solution is to remove ALL diodes besides D1501, D1503, D1523 (this one is for the 1750Hz repeater tone) and D1529 (this one is for crossband).
